In addition to the choice of suitable material - such as stainless steel A2 (AISI304), A4 (AISI316 / AISI316L) or duplex steel (AISI318LN) - surface treatment plays a key role.
Marinetech offers chains made of high-quality A4 stainless steel and duplex steel, which are specially designed for corrosive conditions. These products are pickled and bright passivated - this removes all impurities and forms an even, seamless passive layer that significantly increases corrosion resistance.
